Episode 23: Horns of Mead with Special Guest Carolina Sguerra!

It’s Spooooooky Season with Max and Maks who welcome Carolina Sguerra for a fun-filled pod-stravaganza!

The gang catches up on what they’ve been up to, including Carolina’s recent trip to Medieval Times, Maks’ new job and excruciating commute, and Max extols the virtues of Wegman’s and its new Manhattan location and they also share their spooky szn plans.

Later, in the Game of The Week it’s “What’s the Move?” where each person gives a specific scenario and the others respond with what the plan of action should be. PSA to listeners, this one gets STRESSFUL!

First up in the blogosphere this week, here is the link to the infamous oyster date story that’s been making the rounds on social media. Some notes that we didn’t discuss on the show that may change your POV: this took place in Atlanta, GA (maybe not the best locale for oysters?), it was part of an oyster special where it was $15/dozen bringing the total for 48 oysters to $60, she also ordered crab cakes, potatoes, and multiple drinks.

Next up, here’s Carolina’s boyfriend Andrew enjoying his glass of beer at Medieval Times since Carolina vetoed the horn (bonus horn of mead in the background of the pic though!)
